Everyone is talking about it, and almost every one of my friends have it on their blogs. I read it in 3 days, and like everyone else, lost sleep because I couldn't put it down. I have to say, I'm sad it's over! Even though she says it's the last in the series (except possibly a book from Edward's point of view) the ending leaves open possibilities for future books. I would love to see what happens with Jacob and Nessie.
One of my friends said she'd love to be a vampire (see Amber's blog) but I personally would not like that. It might be great for a while, but I think it would be really difficult not being able to really be yourself around other people. And avoiding too much sunlight around other people. What about Lake Powell Amber? : )
On a more serious note (if you haven't read the book yet, stop reading!) I got a little emotional when Bella was preparing to send her daughter away. When she thought the discussion with the Vulturi was going south and tells her she loves her...I can't even imagine! What's worse, I can't believe I got that into the book that I even got emotional! lol
Now that I'm done, I'm trying the other book by Stephenie Meyer, The Host. This one is not as easy to jump in to, but stay tuned and I'll let you know how it turns out.

Good Point! No tan! But I sure would "sparkle"!
I liked this book but felt it lacked the passion of the other books. I am also sad the series is over. I wouldn't be surprised if Myers did a series about Jacob and Nessie. I felt there was so many unanswered questions with Bella and Edward and how their relationship would be as vampires. In a way I was hoping for more in this book. There was so many times I thought Myers needed to elaborate on details in the story. I guess the new rave will be the movies. I hope they aren't a dissappointment.
